This washed medium-light roast from Huehuetenango, Guatemala is led by noticeable sweetness and a clean cup profile. It opens with a soft brown-sugar-like sweetness, followed by gentle fruit character and mild acidity that adds freshness without tasting sharply sour. Bitterness is very low, keeping the cup smooth and easy to drink.
Rather than a bright, acidity-driven light roast, this coffee balances gentle fruit character with a sweeter overall profile. It is best enjoyed black for its clean sweetness and subtle fruit notes. With milk, the cup becomes softer and rounder, though some of the finer fruit character will be less noticeable.
