☕ What does it taste like?
This washed drip bag coffee from Ermera, Timor-Leste is medium roasted. Compared with lighter, more delicate washed coffees, it has a fuller and more substantial body, giving the cup plenty of presence without relying on dark-roast bitterness for intensity.
The mid-palate brings out deeper nutty notes, with sweetness and mild bitterness working in balance. The nuttiness is not especially sweet like hazelnut or almond; some drinkers may find it reminiscent of walnut, with a more grounded character and a slight bittersweet edge.
The acidity stays gentle and mainly works in the background for balance. If you enjoy black coffee with body and presence, but do not want the charred bitterness or smoky character of a dark roast, this is a good fit.
