This is not a medium-dark roast that only shows bitterness. The first sip has a slight fruity lift, followed by cocoa-like bittersweet notes, with a sweet finish.
It does not lean fully toward acidity or bitterness. Instead, you can taste a little acidity, bitterness, and sweetness in the same cup, without any one side becoming too strong.
